Online PR is much more than generating coverage on news sites. When TV Licensing wanted to reach students we helped the Fishburn Hedges team consider how to develop and distribute content for student and university sites nationwide.

As the media that students consume has changed, so have the techniques required to reach them. A few years ago a PR campaign might involve contacting the student newspaper and campus radio station. The TV Licensing team now looks way beyond online outlets of “traditional” media.

The copy placed on University and Students Union websites, distributed in all-student emails, on student-focused websites and via admins of University Facebook groups, now generates thousands of links to the TV Licensing site.

And these links in turn generate thousands of click-throughs and sales of TV licences.
